Marshall,
I'm also interested in knowing what the status is for off screen rendering in CEF3. The project I'm working on (http://www.glassomium.org) currently uses Berkelium to render the UI, but with it I'm stuck with Chromium 11. CEF seems like a very good solution that could provide the project a more up to date version of Chromium.

Thank you!

You can also build CEF1 from source code using newer versions of Chromium. See http://code.google.com/p/chromiumembedd ... ndBuilding for instructions.

I too am wondering about the status of offscreen rendering for CEF3. Is anyone actively working in this area?

Also, do you have a sense of the amount of effort required? I ask because this might be something I (or someone on my team) might undertake.

I've been toying with CefSharp (versions are Chromium: 21.0.1180.0, CEF: r728, CefSharp: 0.12.4596.50).

http://html5test.com/ indicates that Ogg Vorbis
Code: Select all
<audio />
is supported, but when I play some, there is no sound. When I play
Code: Select all
<video />
, however, sound works perfectly.

Is the following issue the reason for what I'm seeing: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issue ... ?id=112159 ? If so, is it fixed with the latest chromium and/or CEF?

I suppose this is the right thread to report issues for CEF3.
Cefsample crashes on windows xp when you right click on a flash banner.

Open youtube.com, right click on the big advertise on the top, the flash menu is shown then the plugin crashes.
