How to add header and footer in the printed document

Postby Praveen » Wed Apr 09, 2014 9:12 am

Hi,

Can I know how I can add my custom headers/footers in the printed document.
I found there are APIs available in CEF1 for achieving this functionality, but in CEF3 I could not find similar APIs.

Also I tried to set the headers/footers using CSS.But this will set headers/footers only to the first page.

Please let me know how to resolve this.

TIA

The CSS method should work, but it seems to be a bug in Chromium. See http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1964 ... -in-chrome.

Hi Magreenblatt,

Oops! I am desperately searching for a solution to this problem. Any idea as to whether they are prioritizing this bug ? or do we have an alternative at hand.

This has been a reported bug since 2008 so I doubt it will be fixed any time soon (direct link: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issue ... l?id=24826). We will probably need to implent an API similar to CEF1. Patches welcome.
