Requests get "stuck" after a while

Postby perg » Thu May 15, 2014 4:36 am

I noticed something odd after upgrading to CEF 3.1650.1639. After letting the application idle for a few minutes, subsequent (AJAX) requests would get "stuck" and never complete, without any JavaScript console errors.

Upgrading to CEF 3.1750.1700 seems to have fixed the problem, although I need to test more.

I know that the problem description is a bit vague, but I though I'd ask if there has been a issue related to this that has been fixed in the 1750 branch?

Spoke too soon, the problem is still there in 3.1750.1700. :-(

I can quite easily reproduce this on two different Windows 7 VirtualBox VMs, but not on VMs running XP, Vista or Windows 8, or on my Windows 8.1 machine.

Some more info: I added a simple interval-fetch of an URL every 5 seconds from my web app, and they continue to work after I see a request getting stuck.

Also happens on regular Chrome Version 34.0.1847.137 m

Can it be related to this? https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issu ... ?id=234779

We have similar issues in the offscreen mode

CefGlue: f9edd9354cfc012059f66c8b55c9ce3414e7a0d3 [f9edd9354cfc]
CEF 3.1916.1721 (Chromium 35.0.1916.86)

Simptoms:
- Ajax requests never complete
- Remote debugging stops working
- CEF still responds to input and renders to the buffer

Usually happens when you leave computer unattended for a couple of minutes.

I'm very new to CEF and Chromium codebase. So could anyone help us to debug and fix it? We can pay some reward :)
