Error running gclient sync --revision

Postby ianafa » Thu Aug 28, 2014 7:38 pm

Hi
Im trying to build cef 1650 but I cant get this command in the manual to work:

gclient sync --revision 31.0.1650.57 --jobs16

if i run it normally i get this ERROR:

src (ERROR)

now I did some searching and it was suggested to add 'src':None to gclient. I did this and got this Error(sorry for the length):

Try automate-git.py, not automate.py. Post the full command-line that you're using. Also, try a filesystem path without strange characters (don't use dashes, etc).

What do you mean the process stops? Is there some error message?

it just stopped! no error messages! It does sound strange. but i started the download last night and left it running. when i came back in this morning it had stopped just like that. that could be some kind of a OS fault though since i have not restarted it for a while.

i'm trying with a different computer to see if it works. I will update about what happens.
