Cookies not sent to Server? (in default samples apps)

Hi,

I have been trying the sample 'cefclient' (both win32 x86 and x64 versions), and it seems the cookies are not sent to the server (no cookie received server-side ; the cookies are not displayed in Request Headers ; and in Network debugger there is no "Cookies" tab).

I did not modify the source code, and I also have the same behavior with sample "cefsimple".

Is that the default behavior expected in these samples? Or did I miss something?

What OS and CEF version? How are you setting the cookies?

CEF3 branch 2171, on Windows 7 x64, also on Windows 8 x64.

The cookies are set by an asp.net application.
I also tried browsing pages on www.google.com: same behavior.

The same tests in Google Chrome work perfectly.

What test?

Launch cefclient.exe
In URL toolbar, enter www.google.com
Open DevTools
Navigate to Google News (for instance)
In DevTools / Network, check the requests: cookies don't appear in Request Headers (and no Cookies tab).

Exact same steps in Google Chrome --> the cookies (set by google) appear in request headers + in Cookies tab.

The exact same sympton like you encountered. I tried cef rev.1721 that version is ok, but with rev.1949 it's got this problem. any more discoveries since you post ?
