Custom DNS resolver

Some of our customers get DNS failures (NAME_NOT_RESOLVED) for various hosts in our CEF-based app for no apparent reason. Is it possible to use CEF with a custom DNS resolver (e.g. fall back to a custom DNS server if hostname resolution fails)? How could an implementation look like?

Chromium uses the platform/OS DNS resolver so you would need to configure it at that level. Or, you can configure proxy settings via the command-line.
