Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display ":x"

I am running cef (linux build, branch 2454) with xvfb (xvfb runs on headless ubuntu 12.04 machines) as display server.

I get below error during cef load, about RANDR extention missing. "Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display ":99"."
cef's functionality is perfect and no issue. but the error log is causing concern.
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugrepo ... bug=724800 forum says xvfb will not have randr support.

Is it safe to live with this error?

If you're not experiencing any issues then it likely isn't a problem.

There is no problem due to this error.

What version of chrome is expected to provide interface wherein client can allocate framebuffers instead of xvfb? So that xvfb dependency is removed.
