Value of domain when setting cookie

Same as my test app - cookie appears on disk instantly.

Would it be bad to be include sqlite.c in my code and write the cookie directly to the CEF store? (he asked, already knowing the answer)...

That does sound like it might be message loop related. Don't write to cache files while the browser is using them unless you want Bad Things to happen.
