Official support for VS-2015

Any ideas as to when VS-2015 will be officially supported? Will that happen in the lifetime of the 2623 branch? I ask in particular due to the fairly new release of Update 2 for VS-2015, which could have some bearing on official support.

VS2015 Update 2 is now officially supported and required for master and future release branches.
