Compiling CEF on a new platform (PS4)

Postby msclecram » Thu Apr 28, 2016 12:26 pm

Hi,

We are using CEF as our UI/HUD system for our game engine. For windows it is already working, but for the other platforms like PS4 or MingW_w64 we are stuck.

Is there any specific OS dependency of CEF that will be a problem when porting to another platform?

PS4 use a LLVM/Clang11 compiler http://llvm.org/devmtg/2013-11/slides/R ... lchain.pdf .

Also we are not sure of the process to compile CEF. It seems the packages from https://cefbuilds.com/ already have precompiled code and the code in bitbucket needs chromium.

Thanks!

CEF is based on Chromium. CEF does not support platforms that are unsupported by Chromium (AFAIK Chromium does not run on Playstation). See viewtopic.php?f=10&t=12971 for information on mingw.
