Compilation of cef on redhat 6

How do I compile cef on redhat6? I am completely new to this so please explain in detail

is there a way to build libcef.so in such a way that it runs on centos 6.5/redhat 6?

Have you tried one of the pre-build binaries? Assuming you have the relevant dependencies, it should work on any x86/x64 linux.

yes i have tried and got the following errors:
/usr/bin/brackets: /lib64/libc.so.6: version GLIBC_2.14′ not found (required by /usr/bin/brackets)
/usr/bin/brackets: /lib64/libc.so.6: version GLIBC_2.14? not found (required by /opt/brackets/lib/libcef.so)
/usr/bin/brackets: /lib64/libc.so.6: version GLIBC_2.15′ not found (required by /opt/brackets/lib/libcef.so)
/usr/bin/brackets: /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version GLIBCXX_3.4.15? not found (required by /opt/brackets/lib/libcef.so)

PS: I am trying to run Brackets on my machine

Does Chrome still support Redhat 6? You may need to find an older version of CEF

You should contact Brackets support. If the sample application from opensource.spotify.com runs on your system then Brackets can be updated to run as well.

Is there a way to downgrade the libcef.so So that it does not throw "/usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: version GLIBCXX_3.4.15? not found" ERROR?
