I was finally able to get it to build with Update 2, what was happening is that the @#$!@#$ installer from Microsoft was always installing Update 3 no matter which installer I started from - but, I finally figured out you can toggle off the Update 3 install when you go into the advanced options for which components you want to install. FWIW - I had to dig around online to even get an Update 2 installer - the one provided through chocolatey was always Update 3 and I couldn't figure out what command line options to use to toggle off the Update 3 component installation.

Hi,

I am facing the same problem with below VS2015 configuration.
Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2015.
Version 14.0.25431.01 Update 3.

Chromium version: Chromium.51.0.2704.103

I am stuck here and not able to move further.

Either downgrade to VS2015 Update2 (the officially supported version for 2704) or try applying commit https://bitbucket.org/chromiumembedded/ ... 74?at=2785 to 2704, which may not may not work.
