Delay in loading CEF App in latest Mac Sirrea OS(10.12)

Hi All

I am facing a delay of approximately 40 seconds in loading the CEF App in the latest Mac OS Sierra(10.12 Beta 16A269f). I am currently using Chromium version 39(2171 branch). But, when I use test App from branch 2454 , the App got loaded without any delay.

I did some initial debugging on this issue and I could see that, V8 Context is getting released and a new V8 context is getting created after ~40 seconds, thats when the App loads. Until then we just see the default background color.

So, I would like to know what fix was made in 2454 branch which makes it work without delay. Since our App uses NPAPI plugins, we currently cannot upgrade to newer CEF versions. We tried the '--enable-npapi flag', but it looks like it is not supported in that. I would like to know if there is a patch available to fix this issue.

There is no particular fix that we can point you to. Update to a newer CEF/Chromium version.

Since our App uses npapi plugin, we currently cannot upgrade to newer CEF version. We tried using '--enable-npapi' flag in the test app from branch 2454 . But again it showed 'Plugin not supported'.
So I would like to know, am I using the correct flag to support npapi plugin?

NPAPI support does not exist in 2454 branch (Chromium 45) and newer. See https://www.chromium.org/developers/npapi-deprecation for details.
