Views framework in branch 2623

I noticed in this thread an easy way to get a drag-to-resize client with no frames is with the views framework:

This commit seems to indicate it's been implemented shortly after branch 2623 was cut. https://bitbucket.org/chromiumembedded/ ... ?at=master

Is there any reason one cannot cherrypick that change into that branch in order to have that functionality? or are there commits in between that might prevent that from being possible?

You're unlikely to have success cherry-picking large changes into older branches.
