H.264 support for WebRTC

Postby Abagian » Wed Feb 08, 2017 2:06 pm

Hi,

I encovered that rtpmaps of the CEF WebRTC client based on Chromium 57 do not include H.264 codec, while Chrome 56 does.

Old command line flag "--enable-features=WebRTC-H264WithOpenH264FFmpeg" also does not help.

Can you advice something ?

This is a link for testing : https://doubango.org/webrtc/samples/web/content/munge-sdp/

CEF does not ship with H.264 support. See https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3A ... arch&gbv=1

Thanks a lot !

Do you know if this method ([GYP/GN]_DEFINES=is_official_build=true proprietary_codecs=true ffmpeg_branding=Chrome) affects the WebRTC codecs too ?

Built it finally. H264 has appeared in WebRTC rtpmap and seems to be workable.
