How to get URL details in CEF hosting process

Hi ,
We are currently using IE web control and use ObjectForScripting to communicate the URL parameters to hosting process.
I would like to replace the same with CEF. I am very new to CEF.
Is there any existing API to get URL information in hosting C++ application ?
I searched the details and found "Inter-Process Communication" chapter in main page and was not completely sure of this mechanism to use for my purpose.

could you please give a quick hint before I actually start with the prototype? thanks.
