Building 63 on windows 10

Postby styllhere » Thu Feb 08, 2018 8:13 pm

Hi I'm having troubles building on windows. My x86 release build succedeed but it seem that the cefclient css engine was messed up. No css or layout were being applied to websites.

This is what I did:

- run automate-git.py --download-dir=C:\code --branch=3289
- run create.bat which contains:
Code: Select all
set CEF_USE_GN=1
set GN_DEFINES=use_jumbo_build=true enable_precompiled_headers=false is_win_fastlink=false is_debug=false is_component_build=false symbol_level=0 enable_nacl=false remove_webcore_debug_symbols=true target_cpu="x86" is_official_build=true proprietary_codecs=true ffmpeg_branding="Chrome"

- ninja -C out/Release_GN_x86

The client built but as I said the css was no existent in any sites.

Don't use use_jumbo_build=true in combination with proprietary codecs.
