How to set TLS version to 1.3?

Postby TheOne » Tue May 08, 2018 5:07 am

Hi,

I'm developing a application which uses internally CEF3(version 3.3359.1772 ).
When I'm trying to open a website URL https://www.sohuitc.cn/, CEF sends "Client Hello" with TLS version 1.2, while the web-server supports only TLS of version 1.3.

How the maximal/minimal TLS/SSL version can be configured in CEF?

I was trying to pass some command line arguments (--ssl-version-max=tls1.3 and --ssl-version-min=tls1.3), but they seems to be not working in CEF (probably, only for chromium).

If somebody, could help me with the problem, I'd be really appreciated. Thanks.

TLS1.3 is not currently supported. See https://bitbucket.org/chromiumembedded/ ... for-tls-13

TLS1.3 support is still experimental in Chrome (the standard is not finalized), so websites should continue to support TLS1.2.
