I saw some time ago a change on MasterBuildQuickStart wiki page which says that Ubuntu 16.04 is recommended and building with other versions or distros has not been tested and may experience issues. This change was when master was using v66. On the BranchesAndBuilding (v66 and v67) and AutomatedBuildSetup wiki pages I still see Ubuntu 14.04 as a requirement. Is this correct? Do these branches still build fine with Ubuntu 14.04? Thanks.
I have moved my personal development/testing to Ubuntu 16.04 which is why the Wiki has changed. Building and running on Ubuntu 14.04 should still be possible and the automated builders continue to use Ubuntu 14.04 with the Chromium-provided chroot environment.
By Chromium-provided chroot environment you mean the "use_sysroot" GN variable? So as long as I use that variable I should be good building with Ubuntu 14.04?
