Display issue on Mac with windowed rendering mode?

Postby Cognitecco » Wed Jul 08, 2015 4:49 am

Hello, I followed all the steps described on https://bitbucket.org/chromiumembedded/ ... ndBuilding on my Mac.
I can build without problems. However, when I try to run any of the 2 test apps, the browser opens but the window is blank. Strangely enough, when I hover over the screen the content of the page seems to be recognized. Also, when I set the off screen rendering to true in the MainFrame class and I compile again, the issue goes away and the page is displayed properly. So in off screen rendering mode everything is ok.

Hence, I am assuming there is a display issue on Mac with windowed rendering mode?

The details of my Mac are:
OSX Yosemite 10.10.3
Retina 15 Inch
2,8Ghz Intel Core i7
16GB RAM
Graphics: Intel Iris Pro 1536MB

The details of the Java version used:
java version "1.7.0_71"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_71-b14)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.71-b01, mixed mode)

Is this a known problem? Is there any workaround?

Known problem: https://bitbucket.org/chromiumembedded/ ... at-startup. The workaround is to use an older version of JCEF/CEF.
