Ways to reduce the memory usage

I did a brief search on the forum for this before asking.

We are using JCEF and with the current build my experience is that it requires somewhere in between 1 - 2 Gb of available memory (outside the JVM memory pool)

From a JCEF perspective I suppose we are most likely limited to the command line switches, like those listed by Peter Beverloo but this list is already very long and I have not found a official list ?

If anyone has one or more suggestions I would be very grateful !
