Where to post what

Welcome to the CEF forum and thanks for reading this topic. :-)

If you are experiencing a bug or crash with CEF please file a bug report at https://github.com/chromiumembedded/cef/issues. Before posting on this site please make sure to choose the appropriate forum. This will increase the probability that you will receive an answer. You are also encouraged to review the forum rules at http://www.magpcss.org/ceforum/rules.html before posting.

Support Forum
If you are having problems building or using CEF please post in Support. The Support forum is also for any operational questions on how to use a specific CEF feature or interface from a technical point of view.

Feature Request Forum
This forum is for discussing and requesting new features for inclusion in CEF. Please make sure a thread does not already exist for your feature before starting a new one.

Modifications Forum
This forum is for users to discuss and share their own custom modifications to CEF. Many user contributions will eventually make their way into the official CEF source tree, but there's no reason you need to wait for that to happen! If you've implemented your modification in source code and feel it would make a good addition to CEF, you can submit a Pull Request.

CEF Discussion
Anything else that's CEF related ;-) Anything else that doesn't fall into the previous categories usually fits very well in CEF Discussion.

Apps Discussion
This forum is available for discussion and sharing of applications using CEF. This is not intended as a support forum for those applications but instead as a general place to post thirt-party app notifications that may be of interest to the CEF community.

General Discussion
Dicussions without reference to CEF should be posted in General Discussion. Please note that General Discussion isn't a support forum for anything (be it CEF or anything else).

Test Me
The test forum is for general "test purposes." These may include checking signatures, testing a link or image, etc. Posts in this forum will be deleted on a periodic basis.

Happy posting! :geek:
