disable GPU compositing

Postby smayoral » Tue Oct 19, 2021 4:47 am

Hi,
our application is using Chromium-CEF: 94.4.1+g4b61a8c+chromium-94.0.4606.54 and runs on Windows 10.

In a few PCs we just get an empty page (white screen), nothing is rendered.

I found out that if I activate the switch "disable-gpu-compositing" everything works as expected, content is loaded.

So far I have found two problematic graphic adapters:

- ATI FirePro V (FireGL V) Graphics Adapter
- Microsoft Basic Render Driver

Anyone any idea why this happens?

Regards,
Sergio

You need to upgrade to version 94.4.10

94.4.1 doesn't ship with the dlls required for software rendering.

If you cannot upgrade then you'll need to use --use-gl=swiftshader
Maintainer of the CefSharp project.
