In our recent implementation, we made a custom stream handler which create a new thread to provide data when a custom URL is loaded from HTML. The purpose is to display a bunch of thumbnails in HTML like a photo album. However, we found that the whole rendering engine freeze and wait for I/O instead of running as multithread as usual when we load from ordinary URL, even when just 3 thumbnail sized photos are loads.
Would like to see if anyone has the same experience or comment related to this problem? Thanks.
