Using window.prompt()

Postby dxue » Thu Jan 10, 2013 5:48 pm

In chrome, there is a default implementation for window.prompt() whereas in CEF if you do window.prompt() nothing happens so you have to provide your own implementation. Is there a reason CEF doesn't use the Chrome default implementation?

I'm using CEF 1 v828 and Windows 7 x64.

The Chrome default implementation involves code that cannot easily be used by other projects. CEF3 provides implementations of this dialog for most platforms. Implementations could also be added to CEF1 but it hasn't happened yet.
