CEF3 : Finer control of process re-use/sharing

Postby tomh » Fri Jan 11, 2013 9:36 am

Hi,

I'm aware of the different process models that Chromium supports. Also of the threshold at which it will start to re-use render processes.

I wondered if it is possible to get finer control over the creation or reuse of processes. For example, I would like to create two browsers that both share the same render process. Is that possible? How would I go about it?

regards,

You would need to modify the CEF/Chromium source code. You're probably already aware of this document: http://www.chromium.org/developers/desi ... ess-models. It provides some hints on where to start looking in the code. We plan to eventually support the specification of different process models via the CEF API.
