ATL dependency in cefclient

ATL dependency in cefclient

In revision 1058 cefclient dependency on ATL was removed, is there something wrong with ATL?
Was it a goal in itself? In one of projects I'm using WTL, I plan to embed cef web-browser and
I wonder if I'm missing something.

ATL doesn't come with VS Express so removing it makes it easier for Express users to build cefclient.
