Video repaint/validation problem on Linux

I've built the CEF3 library and cefclient for Fedora 19 in release mode (rel. 1916), but when playing video (from for example this page http://www.quirksmode.org/html5/tests/video.html) the playback is extremely slow (up to 5 seconds between each frame). The playback becomes smooth when I continuously resize the cefclient window. So in other words it seems that there is something wrong with the invalidation or repainting. Any idea what might cause this problem?
