Weird video playback offset with cefclient on windows 1903

Postby linuxcef9 » Tue Aug 27, 2019 4:25 pm

Hi,

When using cefclient from openspotify on windows 10 1903 machine, I see weird offset in image when DPI is changed.
I used below build of spotify to test :
http://opensource.spotify.com/cefbuilds ... nt.tar.bz2

Steps to reproduce:

1) Run cefclient.exe --url=https://www.youtube.com on windows 10 1903 machine
2) Play any video
3) Change the DPI value while the video is being played

Might've to do step 3) multiple times, by changing DPI to higher and lower than original (recommended) value. You'll see that video plays at a weird offset.
I have attached a screenshot of the same. It is very easy to reproduce.

With the latest build :
http://opensource.spotify.com/cefbuilds ... nt.tar.bz2
I don't see this issue happening but still, the window looks a bit weird.

Do you've any idea what's going wrong?

How does it behave in Google Chrome at the same version?

I got the chromium version from here : https://commondatastorage.googleapis.co ... 64/638880/

and that seems to work fine.
