Determine if CEF is built with media codec support enabled

Is it possible at runtime to determine if the version of CEF in play was built with media codec support enabled or not?

Nothing in CEF version and a grep of the include dir for some hopeful keywords didn't turn up anything.

Yes, this can be done using JavaScript. See for example here.

It's not possible to determine that using C++ directly other than by creating a fragment of HTML/JavaScript with what your link describes and calling it from C++?

Correct, it requires JavaScript.
