Camera orientation adjusts in CEF, but not in our software

Postby awarnick » Fri Sep 04, 2020 1:46 pm

We have run into a case where someone has rotated their screen, which has a web camera on it, and cefclient appears to have some way to tell the browser that webrtc should rotate the image. I can’t find a flag for this and there is nothing useful in CefBrowserSettings.

What OS and CEF version? How does your application differ from cefclient?

It's Windows 10, CEF version 81. Our software is a locked down browser app, but we're not blocking anything that would affect webrtc in any way.

Are you also testing with cefclient from v81? Are you passing any command-line flags or settings to your application that differ from cefclient?

It's the same exact build. I'll take another look at the flags. One, that indirectly makes a flag, is "no_sandbox=true". I couldn't see that causing this issue, though.
